directly from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain
featuring the show "Flamenco de Noche"
by the Olivia Chacon Flamenco Company from Austin, Texas
and a group of talented dancers from San Antonio;
plus a program of solo dances by Antonio Granjero, Eduardo Arturo, Jackie Rodriguez, and Olivia
Chacon with an ensemble of world-class international musicians and singers
including Chayito Champion, El Yiyi, and Isai Chacon, among others.

Body and Soul

Flamenco Arts Society of San Antonio brings to the city the talents of Timo Lozano Flamenco Master.  
The week long workshop will take the Beginner/Intermediate Students into the rhythms of  the Bulerias
and will take the Advanced Students into Solea por Bulerias rhythms.  The workshop will take the Body
into movement, but your Soul will be touch with spectacular rhythm of the Bulerias and Solea. Come
bring out the Gypsy in you and study with world reknown Master Timo Lozano.

When:  May 1-5 2006

Beginner/Intermediate 7:00-8:00pm

Advanced                 8:00-9:30pm

Where:   1020 S. Presa,  San Antonio Texas

at the Institute of Texan Cultures in downtown San Antonio.

The 35th Annual Texas Folklife Festival (Thursday, June 8 through Sunday, June 11, 2006) is a
four-day, fun-filled cultural celebration showcasing Texas' rich heritage. Visitors enjoy choosing from
more than 150 authentic foods created by over 40 ethnic groups, 10 outdoor stages featuring the Lone
Star State's finest entertainers, 50 talented arts and craft vendors, along with artisan demonstrations,
carnival rides, competitions and so much more!
